From September 30 to October 1 Morrow Ranch Camp will be hosting the Mt Hood Buckaroo Rendezvous. This cowboy gathering and campout is open to the public and is family/horse friendly. There is no pre-registration but please give us a courtesy call or txt at 907-687-6047 so we know to expect you. There will be a $10 per day/person charge (due on arrival) for the time you plan to be at camp.
This event will be fairly informal. You will need to provide your own food and camping gear. RV’s and horse trailers are welcome, as are tents, hammocks, or bed rolls. You choose the style that fits you. We do have a nice shower house that will be available. Camp will have wall tent bunk houses available for rental ($20 per night) on a first come first serve basis.
If you choose to bring your horse it should be able to be tied to your horse trailer overnight. There are many miles of trails adjacent to the ranch camp and two arenas to ride in. We will have some horse related demos/classes including packing and cow work for you to enjoy.
Planned events will be interspersed with lots of time for you and your family to enjoy relaxing, swapping tall tales, reading, riding, or doing whatever you enjoy on a camping trip.
